Overview
Welcome to the Audit Logs guide. Audit Logs are your system's built-in security and activity tracker. They provide a comprehensive, chronological record of every action taken within your account, allowing you to monitor team activity, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance.
Why Use Audit Logs?
- Security & Accountability: Track exactly who logged in, when, and from what IP address.
- Data Integrity: See who created, modified, or deleted contacts, workflows, or settings.
- Troubleshooting: Identify what changed right before a system error or automation failure occurred.
How to Navigate the Audit Logs
To view your account's activity history, navigate to Settings > Audit Logs. You will see a detailed table containing the following information for each event:
- Date & Time: The exact timestamp when the action occurred.
- User: The name and email of the team member who performed the action.
- Action: What was done (e.g., "Created", "Updated", "Deleted").
- Module: The area of the system affected (e.g., "Contacts", "Workflows", "Settings").
- Details: Specific information about the change, often including previous and new values.
Filtering and Searching
If you are looking for a specific event, use the powerful filtering tools at the top of the page. You can filter by Date Range, User, Module, or Action type to quickly narrow down the results and find exactly what you need.
Pro-Tip: Make it a habit for your account administrators to review the Audit Logs weekly. This proactive approach helps spot unauthorized access attempts or accidental configuration changes before they impact your business operations.
