    New Feature AI Website Builder

Download Your AI Built Site's Full Codebase

Sites and apps built with Scotify Solutions' AI website builder can now be exported as a full codebase, downloaded directly as a ZIP file. This is not a partial export or a design snapshot. It is the actual underlying code for the project.

    What It Is

Sites and apps built with Scotify Solutions' AI website builder can now be exported as a full codebase. You download it directly as a ZIP file with the real underlying code for the project inside.

    Why It Matters

Up to now, projects built with the AI builder lived inside the platform with no direct way to pull the raw code out. That created a real limitation:

    No local backup

If you wanted a copy outside the platform, there was not a clean way to get one.

    No portability

Moving a build to another platform, handing it off to a developer, or transferring it to a client meant starting from scratch or reverse engineering the site.

    No offline access

Code review, audits, or version control outside the platform were not possible.

This release solves that directly. You get full codebase access on demand in a couple of clicks. It is a straightforward way to:

    • Keep your own backup of client builds
    • Hand off code to a client or a third party developer if a relationship ends
    • Migrate a build to another environment if needed
    • Do your own review and QA on what the AI actually generated

How to Implement It in Your Account

There are two places to trigger the download. Either one works the same way.

    From the Code section

    1. Open the project in the AI builder
    2. Go to the Code tab
    3. Click Download Codebase
    4. The full project downloads as a .zip file

    From Project Settings

    1. Open the project Settings
    2. Locate the download and export option
    3. Click to download the same full ZIP of the codebase

That is it. No configuration, no partial exports to manage. One click and you have the complete project locally.

Where This Matters for Client Work

    Client offboarding

If a client leaves or a contract ends, you can hand over their actual codebase instead of just losing access or rebuilding it manually.

    Backup discipline

Periodically download and archive codebases for active client builds as a safeguard.

    Dev handoff

If a build needs custom work beyond what the AI builder supports, a developer can start from the real code instead of rebuilding the site from scratch.

    Migration flexibility

Gives you and clients an exit path if a project ever needs to move elsewhere.
