    Email Campaigns: A Complete Guide

Create, send, and track email campaigns to engage your audience and drive conversions. The drag-and-drop builder makes it easy to design professional emails without writing a single line of code.

    Before You Begin

Ensure you have authenticated your sending domain in Settings > Email Services to maximize deliverability and avoid landing in spam folders.

Step 1: Creating a New Campaign

To start a new email blast, navigate to Marketing > Emails > Campaigns and click the Create Campaign button.

    • Blank Canvas: Start from scratch and build your layout block by block.
    • Templates: Choose from our library of pre-designed templates tailored for newsletters, promotions, and announcements.
    • Import HTML: If you have a custom-coded email from a designer, you can paste the HTML directly.

Step 2: Using the Drag-and-Drop Builder

The visual builder allows you to construct your email by dragging elements from the left sidebar onto your canvas.

    Design Blocks

Add text, images, buttons, dividers, and social links. Click on any block to customize its colors, padding, and typography.

    Personalization Tags

Type {{contact.first_name}} or use the Custom Values dropdown to automatically insert the recipient's name or other stored data.

    Trigger Links

Instead of standard URLs, insert Trigger Links to track specific clicks and fire automations (like tagging a contact who clicks a pricing link).

    Step 3: Sending & Scheduling

Once your design is perfect and you've sent a test email to yourself, click the Send or Schedule button in the top right corner. This opens the final delivery configuration screen.

    1. Select Recipients

You have three ways to target your audience:

    • Smart Lists: Choose dynamic segments (e.g., "Active Customers" or "Cold Leads").
    • Tags: Select contacts who have specific tags applied to their profile.
    • Individual Contacts: Hand-pick specific people for highly targeted messages.

    2. Subject Line & Preview Text

Write a compelling subject line to drive open rates.

The Preview Text is the short snippet that appears next to the subject in most inboxes (like Gmail or Apple Mail), use this to tease the content inside and boost engagement.

    3. Delivery Options

Choose exactly how and when your email goes out:

    Send Now

Dispatches the campaign immediately to all selected recipients.

    Schedule for Later

Pick a specific date and time for the email to go out automatically.

    Drip Mode

Send in batches (e.g., 100 emails every hour) to protect your sender reputation on massive lists.

    Step 4: Tracking Performance

After your campaign is sent, return to the Campaigns dashboard and click on the email name to view the analytics dashboard. Tracking your metrics is crucial for improving future campaigns.

    Open Rate

The percentage of recipients who opened the email. A high open rate usually means your subject line and preview text were effective.

    Click Rate

The percentage who clicked at least one link. This measures engagement and the effectiveness of your call-to-action (CTA).

    Bounces & Unsubs

Monitor these closely. High bounce rates indicate a stale list, while high unsubscribes suggest your content isn't resonating with your audience.
