Before launching your workflows to the public, you need to configure the global settings that govern how the automation behaves. These settings protect your brand from spamming contacts and ensure messages are delivered at appropriate times.
1. Workflow Settings Overview
Click on the Settings tab at the top of any active workflow builder to access these critical configurations.
Allow Multiple (Re-entry)
By default, a contact can only go through a workflow once. If you are building an appointment confirmation workflow, you must toggle "Allow Multiple" to ON, otherwise they won't get a confirmation email the second time they book a meeting.
Stop on Response
Toggle this ON if you are running a cold outreach sequence. The moment a prospect replies to one of your automated texts or emails, they will be instantly removed from the workflow to prevent them from receiving automated follow-ups after they've already engaged.
Specific Time Windows
Restrict the workflow to only execute actions during specific days and times (e.g., Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM). If a step is triggered outside this window, it will pause and wait until the window opens again.
2. Sender Details
In the settings tab, you can also define the global Sender Name and Sender Email for the workflow. If you set these here, you won't have to manually type them into every single email action step within the builder, saving you significant time.
Pro-Tip
Always double-check your "Allow Multiple" setting. If you are building a lead-nurture sequence for a one-time eBook download, leave it OFF. If you are building a receipt delivery workflow for ecommerce, turn it ON so repeat buyers get their receipts every time.
