    Date Ranges and Period Comparisons

Change your dashboard date range, compare against the previous period or last year, and set a different range on a single widget.

The date range at the top of your dashboard controls what time period every widget shows. You can also compare that period to an earlier one, so each number tells you whether things are going up or down.

    Change the Dashboard Date Range

    1

    Open the Date Picker

Click the date button in the top right corner of the dashboard. It shows Last 30 days by default.

    2

    Choose a Range

Pick a preset from the Select date range dropdown. Presets include Last 30 days, Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow, This week, Next week, and Last week. Scroll the list for more options.

For a custom range, click a start day and an end day on the calendar. The arrows move one month at a time, and the double arrows move one year.

    3

    Click Apply

Every widget set to follow the dashboard range updates.

    Compare to an Earlier Period

In the same panel, open Comparison date range and choose:

    • No comparison: Shows the current period only. This is the default.
    • Previous period: Compares to the period of equal length right before your selected range. For a 30 day range, the label reads "Previous 31 days."
    • Year before: Compares to the same dates one year earlier. Useful for seasonal businesses.

Number widgets then show whether the figure is up or down against the comparison period.

Tip: Turn on Previous period whenever you review results, so every card shows a trend and not just a total.

Set a Different Range on One Widget

Some widgets are better with a fixed window, such as a daily check on today's activity.

    1

In edit mode, hover over the widget, open its three-dot menu, and choose Edit.

    2

On the Configure tab, open Date range override and choose a preset or a custom start and end date.

    3

    Save the widget.

That widget now ignores the dashboard range. Every other widget keeps following it.

    Check Your Time Zone

If daily numbers seem off by a day, open the three-dot menu in the top right of the dashboard and choose Manage dashboard timezone. Set it to your local time zone.
