+ Connect a Domain
Connecting a new domain requires adding specific DNS records to your domain registrar (like GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Cloudflare). Follow these steps to link your domain to your Scotify Solutions account.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Navigate to Settings and select Domains.
- Click the + Add New Domain button.
- Enter your domain name (e.g.,
www.yourbusiness.comor a subdomain likeoffer.yourbusiness.com). - Configure DNS Records: The system will provide you with specific DNS records to add to your registrar.
- For a root domain (e.g.,
yourbusiness.com), you will typically add an A Record pointing to the provided IP address. - For a subdomain (e.g.,
www,go,info), you will add a CNAME Record pointing to the provided target URL (e.g.,flash.funnels.msgsndr.com).
- For a root domain (e.g.,
- Log into your domain registrar, navigate to the DNS management zone, and add the required records.
- Return to your Scotify Solutions account and click Verify Records. (Note: DNS propagation can sometimes take up to 24 hours, though it is usually much faster).
- Once verified, you will be prompted to link the domain to a specific funnel or website immediately, or you can do this later.
Pro-Tip: Always connect both the root domain (yourbusiness.com) and the "www" version (www.yourbusiness.com) to ensure visitors reach your site regardless of how they type the URL. You can easily set up a redirect from one to the other within the settings.
