Quick Start Guide

Connect Your Socials & Google Account

Link your social media profiles and Google account to the CRM.

The true power of Scotify Solutions unlocks when your platform communicates seamlessly with your existing tech stack. By bridging your Google workspace and corporate social media channels directly to your central CRM database, you turn isolated data into an integrated marketing and sales engine.

Connecting these accounts takes less than five minutes and requires zero coding. Once authenticated, your calendars will sync, your ad reporting dashboards will populate, and your social media pipelines will be primed for automated publishing.

    The Integrated Data Workspace

To access your connectivity dashboard, navigate to Settings from the bottom of your main left-hand sidebar menu, and click on the Integrations tab.

Once authorized via our secure API bridges, data flows smoothly across your workspace:

    1. Linking Your Google Core Account Step-by-Step

Connecting your Google account authorizes bi-directional calendar syncing, unlocks email delivery routing, and pulls search engine ad data into your reporting tabs.

    1

    Launch the Integrations Console

Log into your Scotify account dashboard. Scroll to the bottom of the left-hand navigation sidebar, click the Settings (gear icon), and select Integrations from the submenu.

    2

    Authorize the Secure Google Handshake

Locate the Google integration tile card block and click the green Connect button. A secure browser window will pop open. Select or log into the Google workspace or Gmail account that manages your core business operations.

    3

    Grant Platform API Permissions

Review the checklist of access permissions (this allows Scotify to read calendar entries, pull Google Ads metrics, and manage business profile feedback data). Click Allow or Confirm to lock in the handshake.

    4

Map Your Location Page and Calendars

Once redirected back to your dashboard page, use the newly populated dropdown fields to map your specific Google Business Profile Location and select your primary calendar file for dual-sync routing. Click Save.

    2. Syncing Your Corporate Social Media Profiles

Linking your brand's social footprints allows you to schedule visual content calendars, capture inbound direct messages, and track paid social ad spend.

Navigate back to the main Settings > Integrations matrix board and execute the connection paths for your target social channels:

    • Meta Profiles (Facebook & Instagram): Click Connect on the Facebook tile. Ensure you log into the personal Facebook profile that acts as the Admin for your company's Facebook Business Manager Page and connected Instagram Professional Profile. Check the boxes for all asset rows you wish to import and authorize.
    • LinkedIn Professional Channels: Click Connect on the LinkedIn tile card. Choose whether you want to authorize your Personal Profile (best for thought-leadership outreach) or your official Company Page (best for brand marketing updates).
    • X (Formerly Twitter) & TikTok: Click Connect on their respective tiles, input your brand account log-in credentials, and authorize our publishing engine application to post on your timeline.

The Primary Account Mapping Safety Guardrail

Multi-User Check: Linking Shared Corporate Assets

In multi-user sub-account operations, confusion can arise when separate team members attempt to connect conflicting social profiles or personal Gmail accounts to the same business location.

To maintain strict database stability, Scotify permits exactly one primary integration footprint per external platform row at a time. If your marketing agency handles a shared corporate Facebook asset, designate your primary operations manager or agency owner to execute the initial connection handshake. Once the primary owner connects the account, those imported channels are immediately accessible to all permitted staff members inside your visual Social Planner and Reporting modules.

    Troubleshooting & FAQ

    • Why is my calendar sync failing to display personal events I add inside my phone's Google Calendar app? This behavior occurs if your calendar connection is set to Unidirectional/Primary instead of Bi-Directional. To verify this, navigate to Settings > Calendars, locate your mapped calendar block, click Edit, and ensure your sync configuration toggle is set to "Two-Way Sync". This tells the system to continuously check both databases for scheduling updates every 60 seconds.
    • How often do I need to re-authenticate or re-connect my social media integrations? To protect consumer privacy, external platforms like Meta and LinkedIn enforce automatic security token expiration intervals. These security tokens typically last for 60 to 90 days. If you notice your scheduled social posts failing or ad reporting charts flatlining, simply revisit Settings > Integrations, click Disconnect on the affected tile, and re-run the connection sequence to instantly refresh your platform security access keys.
