Quick Start Guide

    Setup Pipelines and Opportunities

Track your deals through the sales pipeline.

A CRM is only as good as its pipeline. In Scotify Solutions, Pipelines and Opportunities allow you to visualize your entire sales process, track where every lead is in their buying journey, and forecast revenue with complete accuracy.

In this guide, we will walk you through creating your first sales pipeline, defining your stages, and adding opportunity cards to track your deals.

    1. Create a New Pipeline

Your pipeline represents the overarching journey a prospect takes from first contact to closed deal.

    1

    Navigate to Opportunities

From your left-hand sidebar, click on Opportunities. Then click the Pipelines tab at the top of the screen.

    2

    Initialize the Pipeline

Click the green + Create New Pipeline button. Give your pipeline a clear, descriptive name (e.g., "Main Sales Pipeline" or "Q3 Enterprise Deals").

    2. Define Your Pipeline Stages

Stages are the individual columns that represent milestones in your sales process. Keep them logical and actionable.

    1

    Add Stage Names

In the pipeline editor, click + Add Stage. Common stages include: New Lead, Contacted, Appointment Booked, Proposal Sent, and Negotiation.

    2

    Reorder and Structure

Use the drag-and-drop handles on the left side of each stage to arrange them in chronological order. The goal is to move deals from left to right as they progress.

    3

    Save Your Configuration

Once your stages are mapped out, click Save. Your new pipeline is now live and ready to accept opportunity cards.

    3. Add and Manage Opportunities

An opportunity is a visual card representing a specific contact and the potential revenue tied to them.

    1

    Create an Opportunity Card

Go back to the main Opportunities view. Click + New in the top right. Search for an existing contact, assign a monetary Value, and select the appropriate pipeline and stage.

    2

    Drag and Drop to Update

As the deal progresses, simply click and drag the opportunity card from one column to the next. This updates the contact's status instantly across the entire CRM.

    3

Mark as Won, Lost, or Abandoned

When a deal concludes, drag the card to the bottom of your screen into the Won, Lost, or Abandoned drop zones. This data feeds directly into your reporting dashboards.

    Pro-Tip: Automate Opportunity Creation
You don't have to create opportunities manually! Navigate to Automations and build a workflow triggered by a form submission or a booked appointment. Add the Create/Update Opportunity action block to automatically drop new leads directly into your pipeline the exact second they opt in.
