+ Add New Rule
Creating a new scoring rule allows you to define exactly which actions or attributes affect a contact's score. Follow these steps to set up a new rule in your Scotify Solutions account.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Navigate to Settings and select Manage Scoring.
- Click the + Add New Rule button to open the rule builder.
- Define the Action: Choose the condition that triggers the score change. This could be an action (like "Email Opened", "Form Submitted") or a property (like "Industry = Technology").
- Assign Point Value: Specify how many points to add or subtract when this condition is met. You can use positive or negative values.
- Set Limits (Optional): Decide if this rule can be triggered multiple times or just once per contact.
- Click Save and then publish your scoring model to make it live.
Pro-Tip: Don't forget to include negative scoring rules! Subtracting points for inactivity (like not opening an email in 60 days) keeps your scores accurate and prevents stale leads from artificially inflating your hot lists.
