Quick Start Guide

    Setup Email, Phone, and SMS

    Configure your communication channels.

Communication is the lifeblood of your business. Before you launch your first campaign or start capturing leads, you must configure your core messaging channels. Scotify Solutions provides an integrated infrastructure for Email, Phone lines, and SMS delivery, ensuring your outreach is fast, reliable, and compliant.

    1. Setting Up Your Dedicated Phone Number & SMS

Your dedicated tracking number allows you to make outbound calls, receive inbound calls, and send automated text messages directly from your CRM workspace.

    1

    Access the Phone Settings

Navigate to Settings > Phone Numbers from your main left-hand sidebar menu.

    2

    Purchase a New Number

Click the Add Number button. You can search by country, area code, or specific number patterns (like toll-free numbers). Select the number that best fits your local market and confirm the purchase.

    3

    Configure Routing and Call Recording

Click the Edit (pencil icon) next to your new number. Set up your Forwarding Number (where inbound calls should ring, such as your personal mobile device). Check the box for Enable Call Recording if you want to log audio files to your contact records.

    Critical Step: A2P 10DLC Registration

To send SMS messages legally and avoid carrier filtering blocks, you must register your business profile. Navigate to the Trust Center sub-tab inside the Phone Numbers panel. Fill out your corporate details (EIN, business address, and use-case) to authorize your brand across major telecommunication networks.

    2. Configuring Your Email Sending Domain

By default, Scotify provides a system fallback email, but to protect your deliverability and maintain a professional brand image, you must authenticate your custom corporate domain.

    1

    Initialize the Domain Setup

Navigate to Settings > Email Services and click on the Dedicated Domain and IP tab. Click + Add Domain.

    2

    Choose a Subdomain Prefix

Input a subdomain specifically for email routing (e.g., reply.yourcompany.com or mail.yourcompany.com). Using a subdomain protects your root domain's primary reputation.

    3

    Map Your DNS Records

The system will generate a list of secure DNS records (TXT, CNAME, and MX). Log into your domain registrar (like Cloudflare or GoDaddy), copy these exact records into your DNS zone, and save.

    4

    Verify and Authenticate

Return to Scotify and click Verify Domain. Once the DNS propagates, your domain will show a green Verified badge, and you are ready to send outbound campaigns securely.
