Regulatory Bundles
Many countries outside the US and Canada have strict telecommunications regulations. To purchase phone numbers in these regions (e.g., the UK, Australia, Germany), you must provide documentation proving your business identity and physical presence. This collection of documents is called a Regulatory Bundle.
Creating a Regulatory Bundle
If you attempt to purchase an international number and are prompted for a bundle, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Settings > Phone Numbers > Regulatory Bundles.
- Click Create Bundle and select the target country and number type (Local, National, Mobile, Toll-Free).
- The system will display the specific documents required for that region (e.g., Business Registration Extract, Utility Bill, ID of Authorized Representative).
- Upload the required documents and submit the bundle for review.
Review and Approval
Regulatory bundles are reviewed manually by the carrier networks. This process can take anywhere from a few hours to several business days. Once your bundle is marked as Approved, you can proceed to purchase numbers in that specific country and region.
