    Messaging Settings

The Messaging Settings tab allows you to configure global preferences for how your outbound SMS and MMS messages are handled, ensuring compliance and maximizing deliverability.

    Opt-In and Opt-Out Management

    • Automated Opt-Out Handling: Ensure that when a contact replies with standard opt-out keywords (STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL), the system automatically flags their profile as DND (Do Not Disturb) for SMS.
    • Custom Opt-Out Messages: Define the automated response a user receives when they unsubscribe (e.g., "You have successfully unsubscribed from Scotify Solutions alerts. Reply START to resubscribe.").

    Sender ID (Alphanumeric)

In supported countries (mostly outside the US/Canada, such as the UK and Australia), you can send SMS messages using an Alphanumeric Sender ID (e.g., your brand name like "SCOTIFY") instead of a phone number.

You can request and configure your Sender IDs here. Note that messages sent via Sender ID are one-way only; recipients cannot reply to them.

Pro-Tip: Always use a standard two-way phone number for sales and support conversations where you want the customer to reply. Reserve Alphanumeric Sender IDs for one-way transactional alerts (like OTPs or order confirmations).
